The theme of this year's 48h Neukölln art festival is 'Futur III', turning the independent Art festival into a laboratory of the future. Mapping traces of a future yet to happen, already reflecting on the Now. Futur III enables us to take a playful stance re-thinking Art.
SUB TEI has invited ten artists, whose work reflects the phenomenon of simultaneousness and shifting realities, to take part in our group exhibition for this year's 48h Neukölln. Their visions take shape in utopian or apocalyptic images and romantic reviews.
In our 'Fitting Room', we will try to bridge the void between the artistic vocabulary of the present and its engineered visions for the future.
We look forward to your visit!
The festival runs from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June 2019.
During this time, we are open:
To open the exhibition, we have a live performance of Liam Elliot's piece ( ) by Sarah McCabe followed by ambient music from Alex Pastore.
During the course of the exhibition Attilio Tono will be working on a piece in progress in the gallery rooms.
Throughout the exhibition we will have a cash bar selling beer and wine.
SUB TEI is a small gallery located in the Wildenbruch Kiez in Berlin, Neukölln. We are a young gallery, this is our second year at 48h Neukölln.
